What to remember
You need to align what you want for your life with what God wants for your life.
If you have a spiritual, faithful heart, you will look for opportunities to use your blessings to help others know Jesus.
Key Scriptures
1 Timothy 6Matthew 6

The story behind the idea

It starts in verses 9 and 10 of 1 Timothy 6 about those who want to get rich fall into a temptation. For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. I mean, it's not even like Scrooge McDuck from DuckTales, where it's actual money that you get to swim through, it's just digital confidence.

What stands out

What we mean by priceless is it is more valuable than being able to say, hey, I've got this much money that I saved this month, or I have this much setback for retirement 25 years from now. What you and I have to do, especially in the name of the Lord Jesus, is ask ourselves about other things that are a little bit less obvious.

Why it matters

I read a lot about vacations years ago, that that's money you spend that creates a treasure that just keeps on giving for the rest of your life.

A faithful way forward

You need to align what you want for your life with what God wants for your life. Once you've done that, you can manage what you have to get to that end.

Put it into practice

Then he says clearly to be generous and ready to share. I know Dave Ramsey says to live like no one else, so you can give like no one else. I did read a book a couple of years ago called Die With Zero, which is this really extreme principle.

Think about it

Take the idea with you.

  2. 02Where does this challenge the way I am currently thinking or living?
  3. 03What is one faithful step I can take this week?
