Begin with the truth

This particular one today comes with the hope of amazing outcomes, but there are definitely risks involved. That's kind of what makes adventures exciting, potentially hazardous outcomes, as you endeavor upon this experience that does include a very definite activity.

I promise not to take 10 minutes before I reveal it to you, but I do want to tell you a bit about how I got this idea.

What this reveals about God

Maybe it's not lying, maybe it's just fashioning the facts in such a way that they are palatable to others, that it doesn't draw questions, that I don't have to explain anything or put any relationships at risk, and I, and maybe you am addicted to that because it's predictable. If you ask me how I'm doing, and I say, I'm doing fine, that may not be the truth, but it's easy, and I know what you will say, and we move on.

If you ask me something and telling you the truth is embarrassing or incriminating, and I answer honestly, that opens up all kinds of needed discussion and work.

Let faith take root

If you're thinking, you know, this is what I believe about God, and it's not what I've always been taught. Now you can put in the time, do the research, be sure that it's real to you, but don't go through your life ignoring it or suppressing it because it feels dangerous.

Maybe it's not about your faith, maybe it's about the true condition of your marriage, as I mentioned before, or what you really want to be doing for a living.

Respond in daily life

Start within yourself, then take it to God, and then sit down with the people that you love. And it doesn't take someone who's born to be wild, but it does take someone who is looking for adventure.

If you are in search of new and exciting ways to share that faith with the young people whom God has put in your life, remember to visit creation to revelation.com.
