What to remember
Please, today, this week, with the people you love, thank God for his bountiful blessings.
Look, God is always with you, but when you welcome his involvement to help in your life, that's when answers and direction go beyond even what you can imagine.
Kings, all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.

The story behind the idea

What I'm saying is this may be a good conversation for your family and the way that you think about the passing of time and how you attribute glory to God along the way. Have you ever seen a short video or an image that represents the way the earth rotates once per day and it revolves around the sun once per year?

What stands out

These are static things that can depress us if we go, man, it's just a repeat over and over. If we learn to use this rhythm, this repetitive and beautiful habit deepening cycle, when you move forward a year, you can change everything.

Why it matters

The weekly cadence, we did an episode on this a couple of years ago, is the identifying cadence of my life, even more important than daily, I believe.

A faithful way forward

Kings, all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. The prayer has to do with you and your life and your family, but also expanding outward to all men, because God desires all men to be saved, and even those like kings and authorities that we may be crossways on. A settled, confident spirit of thanksgiving to God that recognizes how much we owe him and how involved he is, and we see that beyond just our own life, we see that and desire that in the lives of everyone around us.

Put it into practice

Look, God is always with you, but when you welcome his involvement to help in your life, that's when answers and direction go beyond even what you can imagine. All four of these words are very closely related, but this is that general worship communication that you would have with God.

Think about it
