The story behind the idea
I want to get you excited about what is possible if you will take certain things seriously. I want to show you what tools from God, from the Word that you can use to build out a better version of yourself and ultimately be empowered to be a teacher. There is no goal more lofty than learning to share, and there are very few things that will help you grow, like preparing to teach. Wherever you are in that journey, age-wise or in terms of progress, here are the first four things that can help.
What stands out
The way I think about God's providence and the way Bible knowledge helps you learn many other things in life when everything gets that pace set with Scripture. Just to be clear, of eight things, the two middle ones are pray and read the word.
Why it matters
This is a friend or two who you will do life with shoulder to shoulder. We need someone who will love us enough to hold our feet to the fire and help us pursue our purpose. When you have a warrior, you become their warrior as well. If the walker, you, has a warrior on your left and on your right, a Barnabas type, then in front of you you need a watchman.
A faithful way forward
How is God using you among those of the same age, whatever your age or life level may be? How are you an important part, 1 Corinthians 12, of the body, a functioning piece that connects to other pieces and carries out a role? I like the warrior workman lead, those are great terms, but at some point we have to get really, really practical.
Put it into practice
Some of them have special skills, but some of them who do the most good don't have those skills that everybody thinks that you must. At some point along the way, every one of them clicked to the idea that the purpose of life is to know God and to make him known. I'll tell you right now, that has the power to change everything.
