The story behind the idea
I definitely needed to get my mind off of that, which led to one of two choices. One, sit down with the iPhone, scroll social media, play a game, waste time, or open up the scripture and just read the word of God. Interestingly enough, I was kind of itching for a conversation with someone.
What stands out
I think they meet in someone's home and we worship and we learn about and we praise God together. I was like, dude, I was hoping to encourage you, and all you have done is entirely encouraged me.
Why it matters
I would love to talk about my story in faith or listen to someone else talk about Christ, but I don't know how to initiate those things. I would absolutely love to give you a little bit of advice. Number one, have a paper Bible that you enjoy reading from.
A faithful way forward
I don't think it should be overlooked that what God first sent Alan was a believer. You know, when I look back on my interaction with Alan that day, I didn't end up being the person who converted him to the Lord.
Put it into practice
