What I am here to tell you is that you can go a really long time blaming other people, expecting other people to change, pinning the problems on them, or likewise, you can blame the situation.
Listen beneath the surface
He wants you to be able to judge others, but you must first take what? The log out of your own eye before you can clearly see and help remove the speck out of your brother's eye.
I need to ask you a question here, and the way you answer this question will determine how your self-awareness excel still more, get better journey is going.
Choose a better response
And secondly, I just kept pointing my finger at them, waiting on them to do something different, and that didn't work out well at all. I gotta tell you, I think, and I mean this with grand humility here, I think I'm a little bit smarter than I was twenty years ago when I started preaching half my life ago.
I probably get a few more things right, but I don't look at things anywhere near the same way.
Practice it in real life
Though some of his own erratic behavior contributed to that, he was relegated there without honor and he actually died there. He wasn't honored for his contribution to save human beings until decades later after his death, when they finally understood the concept of germs.
I can't help but think that a lot of people died in that period of time when one doctor self-evaluated and made a change was condemned by others who would not do so.
