See the people in front of you
There are terrible partnerships, bad partnerships, good ones, and great ones. As you can tell by the title today, I want to put emphasis on that fourth category and talk to you about how to build great partnerships, but let's break down all four categories so that you can begin to assess your own personal situations.
A terrible partnership is when two people agree to some connection and neither one of them benefits.
What gets in the way
I should say at this point, as we move towards the good and the great partnerships, we're not saying that you give one another the same thing. In fact, what makes a partnership great is when each person brings something to the table that the other person is deficient in and they both get better.
And that brings us to the third category of partnership, where both people, both parties, do well.

If you showed me that person, that partner, that connection, and I said, Well, that's your future, you would say, Man, I really hope so.
