The story behind the idea
Wherever you are, high or low, stage or crowd, winning or losing, anywhere you are right now, so long as it does not stand in opposition to the will of the Lord, is a place and a time for you to bring glory to God. This means if you are out front or on top or everything is going great and everyone is looking at you, use that moment to show people the goodness of God and the power and need for Jesus.
What stands out
I feel like that's really important to note at this point. It's not just about, hey, the next time you have a chance to give all the glory to Jesus for what's happening in your life, you should take it.
Why it matters
You may find yourself singing Jesus loves me at a press conference somewhere one day. Even cooler than that story was Team Fiji, which began every morning in Olympic Village singing worship hymns out loud for everyone and everywhere to hear. That island is predominantly Protestant Christian, and they brought their hymns, which included lyrics like By the blood of the Lamb in the Word of the Lord we have overcame.
A faithful way forward
I trust that God has been good enough to you that you can find all of that if you turn your attention to him. From that place, we are ready to confess the name of Jesus outwardly and in a way that affects other people.
Put it into practice
Many people in this life thought that the achievement was the purpose within itself, and the hollowness of that view has borne out in many devastating ways. What if you know exactly why it has happened or is happening or will happen? It is so quote, you can point all the attention back to him.
