What to remember
One thing I've learned over the years is the best way for the program to grow is for friends to tell people how valuable it's been for them.
God sees you and loves you, He feels for you, He wants to work with you, and He wants to work through you.
I feel like it would be a valuable question to just go up to Christians and say, hey, what have you been working on in terms of what you're learning.

The story behind the idea

Or for you, in whatever stage in life you are and issues you're dealing with, if Christ was in your place, how would he handle that? Because you, having learned how to live by studying him, should manifest his character, his integrity, his way in, well, whatever stage or portion of life you're in. That's a large part of maybe the first third of the book, and you may be going, well, there's nothing wrong with that.

What stands out

Those aren't outcomes trickled into your life after you've done a certain amount on your own. They are about a present relationship with Jesus where you draw the strength and get the help you need to grow and to fight. That was problem number one is too much focus on willpower and not enough on Christ's power.

Why it matters

If there's one great thing you can do in the midst of what God is doing, that would be it. The process of being transformed by Christ and more into who he is is simply more than just Bible reading.

A faithful way forward

I feel like it would be a valuable question to just go up to Christians and say, hey, what have you been working on in terms of what you're learning about God? If nothing else, go into worship, go into daily Bible reading, expecting to learn something.

Put it into practice

God sees you and loves you, He feels for you, He wants to work with you, and He wants to work through you. You may be tested, you may be disciplined, you may be reshaped, but it is always God's presence doing so for His children.

Think about it

Take the idea with you.

  1. 01What idea from this study most needs my attention right now?
  2. 02Where does this challenge the way I am currently thinking or living?
  3. 03What is one faithful step I can take this week?
