What to remember
Every precious one, a child you died to save, and if you gave your life to love them, so will I.
I continue to believe that gratitude in the greatness of our God is the fire that will fuel our faith and help us live more completely for him.

The story behind the idea

In thankfulness that the Son of God came here to earth and poured out his life to honor his Father and complete his mission, so will I. I continue to believe that gratitude in the greatness of our God is the fire that will fuel our faith and help us live more completely for him. Let me share those lyrics with you today, and I know you're going to love them. First, as has become common for the Thursday episodes, I would like to tell you about a worship opportunity coming up this weekend where you and I can praise God together.

What stands out

Have I allowed him to renovate my spirit so that I can be repurposed for ministry? Once I have seated his purpose in my heart, how do I carry out these missions with the kind of love for others that God has for me? I've been carrying that theme around all year and just mixing in different lessons along the way.

Why it matters

If inanimate objects that do not carry his likeness exalt his glory, certainly so will I. Take a moment today and look around at all that God has made to function naturally just as he desires. Look to the light, a glancing gaze at the sun in the sky, or the moon and stars at night.

A faithful way forward

This verse just invites you to look in any direction, at the birds of the sky or the grass that grows in the field.

Put it into practice

Every precious one, a child you died to save, and if you gave your life to love them, so will I. I'll need an extra minute today to share this with you, but I'm going to take it if that's all right.

Think about it

Take the idea with you.
