What to remember
A faithful life is not just driven by God's grace extended in your past, it also motivates as this tremendous picture of eternal glory and victory in your future.
If you or the people you love have been baptized into a relationship with Jesus and you are seeking to follow him, then grace is the power in and around.
One thing I've learned over the years is the best way for the program to grow is for friends to tell people how valuable it's been for them.

The story behind the idea

What I'm talking about among Christians is start with grace. If you or the people you love have been baptized into a relationship with Jesus and you are seeking to follow him, then grace is the power in and around your life that changes you in a way to make life changes possible.

What stands out

I'm walking firmly on dry ground, and I'm headed to a place of blessing and promise. If you can see all of that and be grateful, how will that affect your walk in God today? I know in my life historically, there are things that happen that cause that nice, peaceful image to get dampened or darkened or shattered, and most of them relate to my own sin and imperfection. Early on, chapter one in the first Timothy letter, Paul makes sure that we all understand that God's grace is greater than all of our sin.

Why it matters

Death is just a doorway to heaven, and Christ has created a space there, a room for you. A faithful life is not just driven by God's grace extended in your past, it also motivates as this tremendous picture of eternal glory and victory in your future. By extension, how many decisions, faith decisions in your life would be so much easier to make if you knew exactly for whom and why you were making them.

A faithful way forward

In a practical sense, we can call upon His name for help at any time and in any place. We can turn to God, 1 John 1, and confess our sins and be completely forgiven any time of day and in any place. You are never out of the reach of God, you are never out of the sight of God. Whether it's thinking of the Father or the Son or even the Holy Spirit, this idea that they are right here with me, with power infinitely greater than my own or any adversary who might be against me.

Put it into practice

I am a part of the body of Christ, by the grace of God, he is with me, I live in peace. When I get up each morning, I try to set aside time for prayer and Bible read and planning.

Think about it
