What to remember
My week goes like this study, learn, praise God, make application, hopefully see some changes in my life, get up on Sunday and share it with people.
Be there when they praise God, be there when they pray, be there when they remember Jesus, be there early, have conversations, stick around afterwards, learn about people.
Key Scriptures
Ephesians 5

The story behind the idea

Maybe I shouldn't have started there because you and I both know that money is not the most important thing, but you also know that you need it.

What stands out

My week goes like this study, learn, praise God, make application, hopefully see some changes in my life, get up on Sunday and share it with people. That's what I would hopefully be doing if I had a completely other vocation or if money wasn't even a thing. As far as main occupation goes for younger people, choose your educational direction and what you start doing with that in mind.

Why it matters

I appreciate that Rob Dial, who does not mention God very often, said the creator has created you to create.

A faithful way forward

Maybe I can make a living doing something that I care about, but I need to learn a whole lot more about it. Maybe, number two, I can start a hobby that helps my body, gets me in better shape, but I need to learn more about it. Maybe I can really get into this creative expression and bring a lot of joy to people, but I'm not real sure the way to do it. You need to be devoting time every week to building knowledge, reading.

Put it into practice

Be there when they praise God, be there when they pray, be there when they remember Jesus, be there early, have conversations, stick around afterwards, learn about people. There is nothing that ties together all of these beautiful ways to get your mind in the right place, like being with God's people. I just really, as we get to the end, want to fully sell out on that point.

Think about it
