The story behind the idea

These people believe that to be biblically true for themselves and for every other child of God. They have their reasons, their conscience, their conviction, and their scriptures.

What stands out

Question seven, is it sinful to drink if it confuses an unbeliever? If they can't quite make heads or tails of the fact that you're drinking with them and they're not real clear what that means about Christ, is that something you should take responsibility for? Then question eight, does the Bible permit alcoholic drinking of any kind?

Why it matters

On one side is drunk and the other side is not drunk, and you just need to be on the proper side of the coin.

A faithful way forward

If people who have reaped the whirlwind of such a dangerous product now want nothing to do with it, shouldn't we be listening? By the way, on that, there's a particular company that researched relapse and said 60 to 90 percent of relapses are initiated after just one drink. That same company said abstinence is the only safe course for those recovering from alcohol dependence.

Put it into practice

I can't think of many cases where participating in any level of alcohol was somehow bringing a unique holiness, honor to the will and the plan of God.
