The story behind the idea
The first concept in Scripture is darkness and chaos and light is the beginning step towards order out of that chaos. That to me is a reference to Jesus right at the beginning, the first thing God brought to the world to bring structure. I would base this on what John says about Jesus right there in the middle of your scripture in the Gospel of John, chapter 1, where it talks about Jesus. Yes, he was in the beginning as the creator of all things, but then he writes, In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
What stands out
It could be in Exodus, it could be in a minor prophet, it could be a gospel, it could be revelation. Ask yourself, how does this text from this book about Jesus influence what I know about Jesus?
Why it matters
He faces him down, fights in an unlikely way, changes the game, he's clever, and he wins. What happens with all of the soldiers that were hiding? They all stand up, they see his victory over the undefeatable foe, they gain courage, they march with him, and they chase away the rest of the adversaries.
A faithful way forward
He believes in the presence of God, even as death is at the door.
Put it into practice
That whole verse, verse twenty eight, persecute Job, pretext in a case against Job, that seems to be the pronouns in that text. He said, You can do that against me, you can toss me out as worthless for all that I have suffered, but I will see God, and you will suffer for that behavior. I see Jesus there, having gone through all those things, and these three friends, and then a fourth friend, come in, and they think they know better than him, and they ridicule him.
